You control what enters your wedding plan
VowInbox ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy applies when you use our website, your dedicated VowInbox email address, and the wedding-planning tools connected to it.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, hashed password, wedding details, partner or team information, and settings.
- Wedding content: vendor emails, replies, attachments, contracts, invoices, notes, tasks, payments, and deadlines stored through the service.
- Transaction information: purchase records and limited payment details supplied by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, logs, and product interactions used for security and service improvement.
How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain VowInbox, deliver and organize email, connect messages to vendors, surface important dates and amounts, provide support, process purchases, prevent abuse, secure accounts, and communicate essential service updates.
Email and document processing
VowInbox processes messages and attachments sent to your dedicated wedding address so it can organize conversations, documents, payments, deadlines, and possible next steps. We may use trusted automated and artificial intelligence service providers for this processing.
Automated results can be incomplete or wrong. Suggested tasks are presented for your review, and you decide what becomes part of your plan. Confirm important dates, amounts, and contract terms with the original vendor message or document.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect VowInbox. Backup copies may remain for a limited period after information is deleted.
Your choices
You may update account details in the service and ask us to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions. You can opt out of promotional email while still receiving necessary account and service messages.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so use a strong password and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Children
VowInbox is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as VowInbox changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
